Mark Carlson, CEO
Mark Carlson co-founded SimpleFeed in 2004 and has served as CEO since the company’s inception. Previously, Mark was CFO at First to File, an enterprise software company he sold to MarkMonitor. He was also general manager of the internet security group of CyberMedia, a public company later acquired by Network Associates/McAfee. Mark joined CyberMedia when it acquired Walk Softly, Inc., a company he founded and helmed as CEO. At Walk Softly, Mark led marketing and development of Guard Dog, an internet privacy and security product that became a PC Data Top 10 product. Before he started Walk Softly, Mark was CFO and vice president of business development at Digital Pictures. He began his career in the technology investment banking departments of Montgomery Securities and PaineWebber after graduating from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Yuriy Grinberg, Director of Development
Yuriy joined SimpleFeed in 2011 to manage the company’s development organization. For more than 15 years, Yuriy has held a variety of technology management positions at established and start-up companies. He was an early employee at big data pioneers MetaWeb and eBrary, where he developed large-scale web applications. He also developed enterprise applications at Lawson Software and embedded software at KLA Tencor. Yuriy earned M.S. and B.S. degrees from Odessa Polytechnic University.
Alik Eliashberg, Director
Alik Eliashberg co-founded SimpleFeed in 2004 and remains actively involved in its development. His experience includes vice president of engineering at Movoto, a real estate listing company, and vice president of product development at Yandex, a leading search engine. Previously, Alik was vice president of engineering at MetaReward, Inc., an online direct marketing company, and held a variety of senior technology and management roles at Resonate, Inc., an enterprise software company. Alik was also the first employee at NetDynamics, Inc., where he designed and implemented the NetDynamics Application Server, one of the first application servers on the market. Alik graduated from the University of California, San Diego.
