Business-to-Business

Case Study – Juniper Networks

Challenge: More Effective Global Content Publishing

A leading provider of high-performance networking and security products, Juniper Networks sells its offerings through multiple channels. The company wanted to deliver thought-leadership content in multiple languages to customers, prospects, channel partners, and journalists around the world.

Solution: Publish Content Automatically from Content Management System

With minimal IT resources, Juniper Networks used the Social Syndication Hub to create RSS feeds of press releases, news, blogs, and social media content. Feeds are delivered to customers, channel partners, and media sites through a simple subscription process (see image 1). Automating feed publication, SimpleFeed integrates directly with Juniper Networks’ content management system and social networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Flickr, SlideShare, and YouTube). Customers and prospects read feeds on their PCs, tablets, and mobile devices using news aggregators such as Feedly, Flipboard, and Digg (see image 2).

Results: Publish Once, Reach Many

SimpleFeed helps Juniper Networks syndicate its content quickly and easily to subscribers, media sites, and channel partners (image 3), reaching customers reluctant to engage directly with business-to-business companies in social environments. Subscribers passively monitor social communication and share the content to their social networks with one click. With access to the latest information, partner sites are more successful. And with new inbound links from these partner sites to Juniper.net, Juniper has improved search engine rankings. To track the impact of its content syndication and expanded social footprint, Juniper relies on SimpleFeed analytics.
